living in a two-faced world
School was fine today, slacked for the entire morning till home ec, when I conveniently sliced my finger open while peeling water chestnuts. I'll never touch a potato peeler ever again. I'm a lousy cook, can't blame me what right. =X The bloody thing wouldn't stop bleeding, had to ask gwee for help. She seemed pretty nice today. The siew mai was... tasteless. All the same, thanks a mil to xinru who helped do some of my share when I was away, er, applying antiseptic cream. Thanks girl! ((:
Watched mean girls yesterday with lix, and before that was walking around orchard with jan and le. Jan went to orchard library to collect some tickets from her friend, so like, three people accompanied her? Haha. Ate at yoshi! Then went to cine and took neos and then to the arcade. Played air hockey and jan and le beat me and lix T__T Then stood around while they played daytona. Missed the 3.10 mean girls show, ticks were sold out =/ So bought the 5.15 ones instead, and my mum CALLED in the middle of thing asking where I was?! Cos I told her I was going to the library (I didn't specify!) She assumed I was going there to borrow books so... anything loh. But I messed things up.
I smsed her I was in the library reading because I forgot to bring my library card and the book was really nice. Then she said that I could use my ez-link card T___T and that "doesn't the library close at 5?!" Checked watch. 5.15. Freaked out haha like whatever! So told her yeah er okay they chased us out already. I'm pathetic. Then when she called in the middle of the movie I told her I was at macs in bishan. T______T Ah well. Oh yeah me and lix saw this REALLY REALLY NICE ROXY BERMS. Seventyfivefriggingbucks. I died when I saw the price. It's bloody NICE. And there was this other one that was really graffitised but lix said it looked like it was photocopied T___T Still love the white pink gray one though. Whined my head off haha. *dies*
Having sec one orientation tomorrow, when the other ccas are having POPs and farewells. Haha at least we have orientation, finally. Cos of italy and concerts. Ah well. Can't wait for tomorrow. Can wait for thursday though, announcing comm results, gah.
