Ooh cheesy cheesy! But that's okay. Although dear linzixin made me feel so stupid cos I went to buy a skirt just for the occasion when I could have just borrowed. Shit! I feel like a retard.
Anyway 11 insane people gathered over at lima's today (okay yesterday), all in black/white save for me and pearlyn, the one-month-late birthday girls who were well, colourful and not informed. Apparently dan jialun lei lima lorraine manpin wox yiling zixin were all there before 5 while me and pearlyn arrived later for the surprise cake and balloons. And there were also gorgeous blink-themed northstars from the Bestie :D Thanks darlings <3333
Our number games were very thrilling, with me and wox's specialty drink which included tomato sauce, bits of taiwanese sausages, beehoon and baked beans (drunk up by yiling who said it wasn't bad) making dan and yiling go to the kitchen and scream "WHERE'S THE KITCHEN!" and bump into each other and sing "oops I did it again" and jialun and zixin's concert, all in front of lima's sister's friends. Oh fun fun.
Lima's labrador is evil. Especially towards dan, who's now the proud owner of orio and a number of freshly-clawed scratches. And my thighs are sore where lei slapped them whenever Ruffles came within a mile of her.
After stuffing our faces, card games and pool we went down for sparklers. I like lighting candles. From now on I aspire to be an arsonist. *collective gasp* Two packets of Nata de Coco later before the goodbyes, with jialun's very nice dad fetching four of us to khatib mrt.
This barbeque has taught us never to eat the burnt parts of taiwanese sausages and sotong balls as you'll be consuming carcinogens which will therefore increase your risk of having cancer. Quote zick the resident doc.
