Shoelace My Heart

Went OBS shopping with cherie today and of course this is what you get. Phototaking at parkview square and getting so frustrated with positioning the camera that someone had to offer to take photos for us. I think embarrassing ourselves is an irreversible change. It's already habitual. Dined in Sakae instead of our usual Swensen's Chicken Baked Rice and I am so proud of us. Later we walked around Bugis Street till our feet ached and spent ages accounting for all the bucks we had spent in total for the day.

Torture week next week but I think it'll be fun. I want to hike! :D Though we may topple over and start flailing our limbs like overturned cockroaches due to too much weight strapped to our backs but I don't care. I'll be so busy swatting mosquitoes I'll probably be rounding up the group.

I shall aspire to be a pest exterminator in the future. I believe I have the potential, I killed four mosquitoes this morning while waiting for the bus. Bloodsuckers just DESERVE TO BE SQUISHED AND SQUASHED TO PULP UNDER MY INVINCIBLE, ALBEIT BARE, HANDS. It's just good to know that I rid the world of four extra proboscises in about 10 minutes.

Call me a pathetic gardener, but my roses are BLOOMING for the first time! Usually they just wilt and die with their petals snapped shut. My fingers just aren't green enough to make them bloom all the time. They're beige-brown like everyone else's.

They're a bit distorted and squashed but still really pretty :)
