I'm Major, I Roar!

General Elections are So Fun.

Even though we very nearly got trampled upon on Friday night at the Worker's Party rally at Serangoon Stadium, but it was pretty worth it listening to the crowd cheer at everything and anything the speakers say.

Example 1.
Speaker: "I am blablabla and I am a candidate running for Aljunied GRC."
Crowd: YAY!!!!!!!

Example 2.
Speaker: Singapore has hope!
Crowd: WOOHOO!!!!

I could come up with more but I kinda forgot almost everything they said.

Anyway it was a great experience seeing the whole place so heated up and people waving their tiny little WP flags like their lives depended on it. These people include Sohteng who committed a TERRIBLE TERRIBLE crime. We got a lot of attention because of the sudden, extremely audible comments she made, but that's okay cos she's gonna become a future MP, right Sohteng HAHA.

I am so obsessed with elections now that I am reading all the articles on it and whenever I pass any district I go "Hey this place is contested." And whenever I hear JOO CHIAT, I think of CSS and his overloaded-with-flower-garlands neck raising his hands repeatedly at his victory and looking extremely stupid. (hopefully no one will read this and sue me) I spent the whole of last night laughing at almost every MP that came on the screen. Oh well I can't stand it. Politicians are just so funny.

Elections are over, so this means no irritating broadcasts of "Please vote for PAP"s during maths lesson anymore and complaints from gen why bishan-toa payoh isn't contested. No more funny speeches and hilarious statements made by political parties and no more civilised quarrels and criticism broadcasted on tv. This is so sad. I had a really good time laughing at everything. :)

Oh and if I ever become chief of some political party in the future, the VERY FIRST proposal I will make is to ban smoking and make all smokers realise how stupid they are.

I MISS OBS! I would give anything to kayak around the entire pulau ubin again and make the same pit stop at that little island and also hear the scary chants coming from the forest while patrolling for wild boars at the second night's campsite.

I am so screwed for my biology test.
