WO HUI LAI LE! :D
With increased addiction to speaking Mandarin, due to the need to discuss intensive lowering of prices in the presence of Egyptian shopkeepers in smoky shops at dodgy bazaars. So please forgive me if I turn too cheena for your liking, this is the aftermath of spending 9.5 days in Arabian Land!
Okay a few points on Egypt!
The air was really really terrible there, like every single man smoked anywhere and everywhere and there was so much dust I can build my own temple with it, especially in Cairo. And car exhaust really kills me.
The people were nice and friendly though some, especially the shopkeepers, were ULTRA and OVER friendly, annoying you whenever you walk past them with "Japanese? You from China? Korea?" and "ONE DOLLAR ONE DOLLAR!" and also pulling and too much touching, like hey too much physical contact man! And we heard the most ridiculous things, like different people giving different prices for the same thing, and there was this man who said his really nice tablecloth cost USD $1 to lure us into his incense-filled shop. And after spending 100000 minutes there he said it cost 20 bucks or something.
us: just now you said it was one dollar!
him: noooooooo, one dollar is for loooooooooking!
And he said it in this matter-of-fact way like, DUH, you have to pay for looking at my pretty cloth, isn't that the most obvious thing in the universe? LIKE HELLO? Are you positively insane? The only thing I'll pay to look at are excavated mummies in the mummy room, sorry! Therefore I hate Egyptian bazaars yay :)
We travelled on almost every mode of transportation available to mankind (besides the various means and ways you can travel on the road eg by motorcycle glares at Lou) We took a plane, travelled by van to various places, rode on camels, took an overnight train,

sat in a horse-drawn carriage, (it really stank :/)
.jpg)
rode in a hot-air balloon, (those are other hot-air balloons in the background!)
.jpg)
sailed on a sailboat, (though it was pretty slow, at least we got to try rowing it :D)

and on a cruise down the River Nile. We jumped 50plus times trying to take perfect jumping shots without any blurring or ships behind us, just me, Amy, the sun and the river. But we gave up when the sun set, so these silhouettes of us are the final picture we got.
I saw more sunsets and sunrises than I've ever seen the past 16 years of my life.

Sunrises galore! First one on the cruise, second on the hot-air balloon and third one on the train. So I've seen the sunrise in Egypt on water, on land and in the air. And I want to see more sunrises and sunsets with the River Nile/Egyptian clouds/Egyptian farms with birds and sun rays on the water and cattle but I can't anymore :(
HORUS AND ISIS ARE NOW MY NEW BOYFRIEND AND UH, GIRLFRIEND RESPECTIVELY! :D

So cute, my darling falcon god :D

OH SO PRETTY <3
Overall it was COOL BEANS, with temples, tombs, pyramids, catacombs 30metres underground, hieroglyphics and the pretty pretty River Nile. <3

I love the ancient Egyptians they were so effing cool rah! I want to carve like them HAHA!
.jpg)
Us with the pyramids of Giza. :D Going under them was terrible, ventilation was poor and all and it was nothing, just a small empty room with an empty sarcophagus, so we were basically cheated of our money.

I MISS EGYPT ALREADY! :( I WANT TO GO BACK, then I wouldn't find out anything and I would be totally cut off from Stupid Singapore, rahrahrah. But all eight of us put on so fricking much weight cos of eating and sleeping right after that, RAH I put on so much weight I feel like a hot-air balloon :(((((
You don't even understand what it's like to be constantly on your guard and to be always subconsciously and unsuccessfully trying to protect something that isn't even yours.
