We Are Happy Because We Eat Happy Meals

Performance at VCH yesterday, my eyes weighed a ton from the makeup, thank you Nono for spending so much time on all our eyes :)
I rediscovered the spirit yesterday, seeing everyone so happy and playing games while waiting for our turn to perform and everything, and we did well on stage, after so much hard work. It was so nice to sing for such a meaningful concert and throw away everything else while we blend our voices to pay tribute to someone so many people hold so dear. And there was just this moment onstage while I smiled at Cherie in the audience, and also while singing NoManIsAnIsland outside VCH, that I felt so darn blessed to be in this choir.
Our lives are like this permeable layer, and people just slip in and out of it like slippery eels dodging plastic nets, while we tackle them as they come, and tackle ourselves as they leave. But there's some people who stay with us, whether we like it or not, whether we are always there for them, or whether they lie neglected in a corner silently waiting to be found.

I had the nicest dream yesterday, and it was so real I even woke up feeling darn happy.
Then I realised it was a dream, then... yeah.
