Give And Receive
I feel like I should blog about the new year but somehow, this year seems empty. It's like there's no aims for this year, no plans, no nothing. No walking about in the familiar VJ corridors calling out to friends you've known for about a year, no more choir practices in the LTs, no more hanging out in the choir room, no more tie-days. But of course this also means zero condescending remarks made by biased teachers and no homework or tests for 7 months HAH.
2008 has been a blur, but it was a bad year fraught with emotional obstacles. If you mapped the happiness level of 2008 on a chart it will look like this.
Choir people would know what happened in July, year 2s would understand the shoot of the gradient end of November, close friends will figure out the graph at the beginning of the year, and even closer ones would know the August-September periods. Yup this is my 2008! (yeah and from this you also get an inkling of how bored and free I am right now)
Whatever it is, my 2009, it will take some effort to make it sink as low as 2008. Thank goodness for that.
This is something I made for the archives of VJC representing the 07/08 batch, kope away. Haha.
My only new year resolution: Lose the blubber. (I don't know how many times I've repeated this but still to no avail) Okay I foresee myself being extremely superficial this year.
Resolution #2 is to listen to more new music because I haven't heard any good music in a-g-e-s AGES. I should make some effort to do that one.
Also, hopefully work is working its way to me and then I can get my pay really soon and get allllll the things I've ever coveted.
