Turn My Head To The West
Right.
So yesterday was my last day at said bank and I must say, even though we DO complain quite a lot sometimes, about
#1 the workload and how they pile everything onto one person
#2 how a tiny mistake can just KABOOM explode into a hulabaloo
#3 how our pay has shrunk to a 3-digit numeral recently cos they cut our working hours
#4 crazy customers
and #5 anal superiors
but it was still a sad, sad situation when the brown door closed on us yesterday afternoon. But I guess the department's used to people leaving so I doubt we made as much of a difference as they have made in our lives. All the supervisors probably have shaken a million hands before that and goodness knows how many times our entry passes have been recycled, so well, doubt they'll miss us as much as we miss them :( especially when we're always making mistakes ha ha ha.
And as I type this I'm getting really pissed off because my computer is lagging like some DEFORMED OLD SNAIL even after I've shipped off all my movies and files to my hard drive.
So anyhow yeah there's a lot of people back at the department who're really nice and whom I'll truly miss. Didn't get to see Nadiah for the last time though, but Joan was really sweet to get us Famous Amos cookies! Hahaha. Though we bought roast chicken pies for everyone (cos they kept teasing us to treat them zzz) and fluffy pens for those who helped us most. Ohwell. Byebye Tampines the over-crowded heartland that's helluva far away.
The weather is crazy. Blistering sun one day and the next it pours like hell. Economic crisis throughout the world. Swine flu epidemic. Riots in Thailand and many other war-torn countries. Haha. The world is ending. We're all gonna die. Yay!
Off to waste the rest of my day away. I might JUST regret quitting. Sigh.
