1st of June is finally over.
The tribe has spoken.
And I have chosen Nanyang Business School over SMU School of Law.
Ok so a big hello to all future NBS graduates 2012, we'll be coursemates from this August onward :D
Took me a really long time to figure out what I want and finally decided that I wanna be in a
1. warm school
2. with significantly lesser projects to do
3. and less stress
4. and which is nearer to my CLEMENTI HOME when I move in September
5. to take a more general degree for a wider variety of job scopes
6. along with a course and coursemates that suit my personality and ability more.
When I first made my decision I was shivering in my shorts seriously, and seriously there were so many things pointing to Law, like how my mum and aunt and lots of friends of the family are suddenly available to talk about jobs in law firms cos they work there, how shows I've been watching like The OC and The Ultimatum on Channel 8 at 9pm every weekday feature lawsuits and pro-bono work.
And to be honest, now whenever I hear about stuff regarding Law, I still have to shut out the part of me that wants to take Law to help people and the part that dreads the Economics part of taking a business degree. So save me.
But I'm gonna be in a school with lots of friends around me like Sherwin, Lixuan, Jia Ming, Shihan etc and I foresee that the near future is gonna be awesome :) Thank you to all who aided me in making my decision I love you guys for helping me out <3
French is starting tomorrow, I've about 6 books to finish, JamLegend.com is serving as great entertainment, I'm getting my laptop next week at the IT Fair, gotta catch up on One Tree Hill and Gossip Girl and watch The O.C on a regular basis and there's the 9pm show every night too, and the best best most entertaining is (( FMyLife.com )) and I am sorry I gloat at other people's misfortunes but its seriously. Hilarious.
