So this is how I spent the past few days.
Friday 10.07.09
#1 Tanning
which was highly unsuccessful due to the horrible black clouds blocking our sun. But we had fun eating sandwiches and cherries by the pool anyway :D
#2 Seoul Garden
where we spammed so much black pepper beef, chicken teriyaki, soup, ice cream floats, pasta, marshmallows in fondue and got so full till I could hardly walk. And we were also extremely brilliant to think of attempting to roast the marshmallows on the barbecue pan. AND SUCCEEDED! Walked from Marina Square to Plaza Singapura later and passed by the National Museum's Night Festival. Looked really awesome, was a good eye-opener :)
#3 Fever at night which sucked. BUT I AM NOT DOWN WITH H1N1 thanks

#1 McMuggers' Games Day back at VJC
we had pizza, played Uno AND I AM A BIG WINNER, Taboo, Guesstures, Twister, and we should have gotten around to playing more but lots of people had to leave early :( We shall repeat this activity in the future cos it is just FUN. We love invading the old school and the choir room. Hahaha all our old memories together are just enclosed in Marine Vista!
#2 Sherwin and I left early for the NDP Preview
which like thousands of P5 kids attended. Met Lix and my mum cos we had four tickets from Mr Oliver Lee. We got GREAT seats, almost smack in the centre at just the right height! So it was pretty amazing even though the performers were still pretty unprepared. The stand-ins were hilarious especially the Electrico guy who was attempting to play the guitar to the music with a piece of cardboard HAHA couldn't stop laughing at him.
And then came the heavy RAIN and poor Mr Teo Chee Hean got so darn wet. Everywhere else was flooded but thank goodness for ponchos and umbrellas or we'd be double-broiled herbal chickens in soup.

Spent at home watching Grey's Anatomy like a maniac
I DREAMT OF DR. BURKE LAST NIGHT and he was my boyfriend HAHAHAHA. No stop telling me I'm weird. I love the thought of Dr. Burke and Cristina together. So so so so cute. My two favourite characters. :)

#1 Pulau Ubin cycling/Chek Jawa in the morning
Sherwin and I awoke super early to catch the low tide at Chek Jawa. Sat a ferry over to the island and rented bikes! The road there was super rocky and I was super scared cos I'm seriously not an experienced biker chick. But it was better on the way back.
Chek Jawa was just seriously beautiful. Too bad we couldn't walk on the shores without a guide. Saw mudskippers, tiny crabs and mud lobsters from the boardwalk anyway, as long as pretty exotic birds :) didn't get to catch glimpses of any starfish! Just lots and lots of crabs. Hahaha.
Got a serious load of mosquito bites but that's alright cos it's fun and green places are happy places! :)
Then went back to VJ to collect certs and saw all the juniors again. :) Had a great talk with May and got treated ice cream by Jian WHEE! Haha miss VJ and school uniform to the max.
Okay! That sums up the past few days. And they all include Sherwin. Lol. I'm gonna get bored of you soon. HAHA.
Got called up by NBS FINALLY, and signed up for hall camp too. I'm enjoying my last days of sunlight before I get sucked back into the wrath of the Ministry of Education sigh. Have a good day guys!
